Former interim champion Carlos Condit will square off against Mickey Gall in a welterweight bout Dec. 7 in Washington D.C., UFC officials confirmed to Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com.

The fight will mark Condit's first since December 2018. The 35-year-old will attempt to snap a five-match losing streak. He was the division's interim champion in 2012 but is 2-8 since.

Gall is coming off a decision win over Salim Touahri in August. He's alternated between wins and losses over his last four trips to the Octagon. He famously choked out CM Punk in the former WWE star's UFC debut in September 2016.

A featherweight fight between Bryce Mitchell and Matt Sayles was also added to the card, according to MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn and Nolan King.

Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris will headline the D.C. event in a heavyweight tilt.
