Pettis out of Ramos bout at UFC Minneapolis

Sergio Pettis has been forced out of his June 29 bantamweight matchup against Ricardo Ramos, according to MMAJunkie's Nolan King.

The reason for Pettis' removal is not known at this time and it's unclear if Ramos will remain on the card. Here's an updated look at the lineup for UFC Minneapolis:

Emelianenko signs new multi-fight Bellator contract

Heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko won't be retiring and instead has signed a new contract with Bellator MMA, according to the promotion's president Scott Coker.

Emelianenko (38-6) is coming off a first-round TKO loss to Ryan Bader in the heavyweight grand prix finals at Bellator 214 in January. The 42-year-old has gone 2-2 in the promotion, earning wins over Frank Mir and Chael Sonnen.

"The Last Emperor" made his professional MMA debut in May 2000 and is best known for his run as the PRIDE heavyweight champion, where he successfully defended his title from 2003 to 2007.

Mitrione vs. Kharitonov rematch booked for Aug. 24

With their initial fight only lasting 15 seconds, Bellator officials announced they've rebooked Matt Mitrione against Sergei Kharitonov for the promotion's event on Aug. 24 at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn.

Mitrione (13-6, NC) has gone winless in his last two bouts, losing a decision to Bader at Bellator 207 and picking up a no-contest against Kharitonov at Bellator 215. The 40-year-old will be looking for his first win since February 2018.

Kharitonov (28-6, 2 NC) has gone unbeaten in his last seven fights, including two no-contests in his last three fights. The 38-year-old has finished four of his last seven opponents.

Torres vs. Rodriguez among new additions to UFC on ESPN+14

UFC officials announced a number of new matchups to the promotion's debut in Uruguay on Aug. 10.

Tecia Torres (10-4) will face Marina Rodriguez (11-0-1) in the strawweight division, Rachael Ostovich (4-5 MMA) will battle Veronica Macedo (5-3-1) at flyweight, and TKO champion Cyril Gane (3-0) will make his UFC debut against Raphael Pessoa (9-0) in the heavyweight division.

ONE Championship results: UFC vet Akiyama loses

Things didn't go as planned for former UFC middleweight Yoshihiro Akiyama in his promotional debut for ONE Championship. The 44-year-old suffered a unanimous decision loss against Agilan Thani (8-3) at ONE: Legendary Quest.
