Despite rumblings of a potential split, John Kavanagh will be cornering Conor McGregor in his next fight.

“I don’t think (me cornering Conor) is in doubt," Kavanagh said, according to the Irish Mirror's Donagh Corby. "He doesn’t have a fight lined up yet but as soon as he does we’ll get the old gang back together and starting plotting, training and I’m sure he’ll steal the show again, which I’ve no doubt he’ll do.”

McGregor (21-4) hasn't fought since a fourth-round submission loss to lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in October. The 30-year-old was suspended six months following his involvement in a post-fight melee with Nurmagomedov's team. Since the suspension was retroactive, McGregor was cleared to fight in April.

The SBG standout has only fought once since he won the lightweight title at UFC 205 in November 2016. While he currently doesn't have his next fight booked, we took a look at five potential opponents for the Irish superstar.
