UFC 233 postponed

Jason Silva / USA TODAY Sports

UFC 233 in Anaheim, originally set for Jan. 26 at the Honda Center, has been postponed, the promotion announced Wednesday.

Plenty of changes were made to the card in recent weeks, including a champion-versus-champion fight between TJ Dillashaw and Henry Cejudo moving up a week to Jan. 19 and the booking of Dominick Cruz's return from a two-year layoff against John Lineker. But Cruz reportedly suffered an injury, once again leaving UFC 233 without a headline bout.

Ben Askren was also tabbed to make his UFC debut on Jan. 26 after he was acquired via trade with ONE Championship for Demetrious Johnson.

"All bouts previously slated for UFC 233 are being rescheduled for upcoming cards," read a release from the UFC.

"The February 10th pay-per-view event ... will remain titled UFC 234."
