Though he was on the losing end of a controversial title fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov near the beginning of October, Conor McGregor was in good spirits when he recently visited a Boston firehouse.

The UFC superstar gifted firefighters with 10 free tickets to the World Series, according to Page Six's Ian Mohr.

The World Series is set to begin Tuesday in Boston with the Red Sox hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers.

McGregor visited the Back Bay firehouse to promote his Proper No. 12 whiskey brand and called the firefighters "true, proper heroes."
