Dana White: McGregor signs new 6-fight deal with UFC
UFC president Dana White confirmed Thursday that Conor McGregor has signed a new six-fight deal with the promotion, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.
White had previously said the agreement was for eight fights.
He did disclose the terms of the arrangement but said it could make McGregor the highest-paid fighter in the UFC.
"It's not hard to do a deal with Conor McGregor because we know what he's worth," White said.
The deal will see McGregor's newly-released "Proper No. 12 Whiskey" serve as a sponsor for every UFC event in which McGregor fights.

UFC 229, headlined by McGregor's lightweight title fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov, is trending toward a record-shattering 2.5 million pay-per-view purchases, according to White.
