Ex-UFC champion Cain Velasquez training at WWE Performance Center
Another former UFC star is working out at the WWE Performance Center.
Two-time UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has been training alongside NXT Superstars at the Orlando facility, and he attended a session of DDP Yoga with WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page, WWE announced on Thursday.
"My experience here has been amazing," Velasquez said. "I'm just looking forward to being here and learning as much as I can. I’ve been a fan of the sport since I was a little kid, and now I get to participate in it."
Velasquez, who owns a 14-2 record inside the Octagon, won his first UFC heavyweight title after defeating Brock Lesnar at UFC 121 in 2010. He teased a potential rematch against Lesnar while attending the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view earlier this year.
