Nunes wants superfight in December, Cyborg pushing for September

Amanda Nunes and Cris Cyborg are down to fight one another. They just can't agree on a date.
Nunes, the UFC's women's bantamweight champion, is willing to step up a weight class to contend for Cyborg's featherweight belt. The promotion has sent fight agreements to both combatants in hopes of booking the bout for their year-end show at UFC 232 on Dec. 29, multiple sources informed ESPN's Ariel Helwani.
Nunes is happy to fight in December. She posted a photo of her signed contract on Wednesday night.
The problem is Cyborg would prefer to fight much earlier.
Despite the hiccup, it appears the wheels are in motion for a third UFC superfight between champions of different weight classes.
