Mitrione vs. Bader set as Bellator's 1st Heavyweight Grand Prix semifinal

Bellator announced Tuesday that Matt Mitrione will face Ryan Bader in the promotion's first Heavyweight Grand Prix semifinal at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. on Friday, Oct. 12.
Bader is the light heavyweight world champion with a professional MMA record of 25-5-0. His last win came over Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal via TKO just 15 seconds into the first round in May to improve to 3-0 in Bellator.
Mitrione carries a Bellator record of 4-0, with his last win coming via decision over Roy Nelson in February. His cumulative MMA record is 13-5-0 with 11 TKO/KO victories and two via decision.
