Perry brutalizes Felder in bloody split-decision win
Don Wright / USA TODAY Sports

Mike Perry defeated a bloodied Paul Felder via split decision at UFC 226.

It was the first decision victory of Perry's UFC career. After winning his previous four fights by knockout, he demonstrated his ability to inflict significant damage Saturday by busting open his opponent's face.

It appears Felder, who stepped in for Yancy Medeiros on nine days' notice, wasn't just fighting with impaired vision, either.

Felder dropped to 7-4 in the UFC with the loss, while Perry ended a three-fight losing streak, moving to 5-3.
