Daniel Cormier knocked out Stipe Miocic in spectacular style to win the UFC heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 226 on Saturday.

The light-heavyweight champion sent Miocic to the ground with a vicious right from the clinch, finishing off the Cleveland native with hammer fists to earn his second UFC title.

Cormier becomes just the fifth man in UFC history to become a two-division champion, and just the second after Conor McGregor to hold two simultaneously.

But the drama wasn't over. Cormier challenged UFC legend Brock Lesnar following his victory, seemingly confirming a report that the two will fight at Madison Square Garden in November.
