Report: Gustafsson, Oezdemir agree to fight at UFC 227
Alexander Gustafsson and Volkan Oezdemir have reached a verbal agreement to fight at UFC 227 on August 4, ESPN's Brett Okamoto reports.
Volkan Oezdemir was scheduled to face Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua on July 22 in Germany, but the UFC opted to move him to UFC 227 against Alexander Gustafsson. UFC currently working on a replacement to face Shogun.

Gustafsson currently sports a 18-4 record and knocked out Glover Teixeria in his last fight, winning Fight of the Night honors during a May 2017 contest.
Oezdemir enters the fight at 15-2, having lost to Daniel Cormier via TKO at UFC 220 in his most recent bout.
T.J. Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt are expected to headline the card, while fighting for the UFC bantamweight championship. Demetrious Johnson will defend his flyweight belt against Henry Cejudo in what is expected to serve as the co-headlining fight.
