Booker T thinks CM Punk will return to wrestling if he loses at UFC 225
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T thinks there's a good chance CM Punk will return to the ring if he loses to Mike Jackson at UFC 225.
During a recent episode of his "Heated Conversations" podcast, Booker said he believes Punk, should he lose, will come back to professional wrestling at All In, an independent wrestling event being promoted by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson).
"I think he'll be at All In," Booker said. "I think if he loses this fight, he'll be at All In, with the Young Bucks (and) Cody Rhodes, making his way back to the pro wrestling world. I really think CM Punk (misses) the wrestling world. I just think he had a bad taste in his mouth, but he can get it back."
All In takes place Sept. 1 at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Ill. Tickets sold out almost immediately after going on sale earlier in May.
Punk's last WWE match was at the 2014 Royal Rumble. He has said he has no desire to return to the company.
