Struve draws Tybura at UFC Hamburg

A battle of behemoths is headed to Germany.

Stefan Struve will square off with Marcin Tybura in a heavyweight bout at UFC Fight Night 134 on July 22 at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, the promotion announced Friday.

The Dutchman makes the short trip west on a two-fight skid. After suffering a third-round TKO at Alexander Volkov's hands in his home country this past September, the 30-year-old Struve dropped a forgettable unanimous decision to Andrei Arlovski at UFC 222 last month. His promotional slate sits at 12-8.

Tybura aims to snap a slump of equal length, having lost to Fabricio Werdum on points and Derrick Lewis by third-round knockout at UFC Fight Night 121 and 126, respectively. The 32-year-old Pole had won three straight prior to losing back-to-back fights for the first time in his career.

In the light heavyweight main event, Volkan Oezdemir is expected to face Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. The former's pending felony battery case in Florida kept the pair from meeting in Chile next month, although Oezdemir's team believes the case will be resolved in time for him to travel across the pond this summer.
