Rousey: UFC return as likely as another Olympics run

Don't expect an official retirement announcement, but Ronda Rousey sounds like her days in the UFC are over.

The former UFC bantamweight champion says she's happy with her current role in the WWE and has no plans to return to MMA. Rousey, 31, says she doesn't feel the need to officially retire from the UFC, but likened her chances of returning to the Octagon to that of representing her country in the Olympics again - something she hasn't done since the 2008 games in Beijing.

"I don't know. I think it's just as likely as me going back to another Olympics for judo," Rousey told "The Ellen Show" when asked about going back to the UFC, according to Damon Martin of MMA Weekly. "No one demanded a written resignation from me for judo and I don't really think the same thing is necessary for fighting.

"I'm just doing what I enjoy and WWE is what I enjoy right now."

There hasn't been any push for a comeback from the UFC's side after Rousey suffered her second career loss in December 2016. Dana White stated plainly in November that he wouldn't want to see Rousey in MMA again.
