What. A. Debut.

Curtis Millender announced himself to the rest of the UFC by knocking out Thiago Alves with a ferocious knee to the face in the second round of their welterweight fight Sunday.

An athletic freak, Millender used his significant length advantage to punish Alves in the first round. He landed several big shots early, but Alves was able to recover and made it to the end of the opening round.

The Brazilian started the second stronger, shortening the distance, but Millender kept him at bay with his impressive jab.

Millender continued to rebuild his early momentum and punished Alves for coming in close, unleashing a spectacular knee to earn his first UFC win.

After the fight, Millender sent a warning to the rest of the division.
