Vadim Nemkov left Liam McGeary without a leg to stand on - literally.

The 25-year-old treated the former champion to a death by a thousand leg kicks until McGeary couldn't remain upright, prompting referee Dan Miragliotta to step in for the save and anoint Nemkov the winner of the light heavyweight tilt by third-round TKO at Bellator 194 in Connecticut on Friday.

Nemkov's fourth straight stoppage victory improved his Bellator record to a perfect 2-0. He has yet to go the distance in nine professional victories.

Wanting no part of McGeary's active guard, the Russian walked him down and mercilessly chopped away at his lead leg while finding a home for his combinations. The attack had McGeary limping back to his corner at the end of the second stanza, and valiant as his efforts to hear the final horn might have been, his increasingly brittle legs had other plans, as they eventually succumbed to Nemkov's kicks with under a minute to go in the contest.

McGeary - 10 years Nemkov's senior - has now dropped two straight by third-round stoppage and three of his last four.
