White confirms Namajunas-Jedrzejczyk rematch for UFC 223

UFC president Dana White confirmed Friday that Rose Namajunas' first strawweight title defense will be a rematch against Joanna Jedrzejczyk in the co-main event of UFC 223 on April 7 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
Namajunas stunned Jedrzejczyk at UFC 217 in November to capture the belt, winning by TKO in the first round. Jedrzejczyk was previously unbeaten and had dominated her last five title defenses before losing to Namajunas.
Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov are set to star in the main event of UFC 223.
