Report: Stephens to fight Emmett in UFC Orlando main event

Featherweight contenders Jeremy Stephens and Josh Emmett will square off in the main event of UFC on FOX 28 in Orlando, Fla., on Feb. 24, Jay Reddick of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

The fight was reportedly finalized Thursday - four days after Stephens picked up his second win in a row with a second-round TKO of Doo Ho Choi in a St. Louis event.

Emmett has also won two straight fights, most recently knocking out Ricardo Lamas in the opening round of their bout in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Dec. 16.

Stephens, 31, is the eighth-ranked contender in the featherweight division and owns a 14-13 record in the UFC. Emmett, 32, is the fourth-ranked contender in the division and boasts a 4-1 mark in UFC fights.
