For Patricky Freire and Derek Campos, the fourth time might be the charm.
The pair of longtime lightweights are scheduled to clash in the co-main event of Bellator 194 on Feb. 16 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, the promotion announced Saturday.
Freire and Campos have been booked to fight in a rematch on three occasions, with the first two bookings falling through due to injury and the other when Freire signed on the face Benson Henderson in September at Bellator 183, where he edged the former UFC champ by split decision for his second straight victory. In their first meeting, the Brazilian finished Campos by second-round TKO nearly four years ago at Bellator 117.
Campos heads into the tilt on a four-fight win streak, and was last seen taking his bloody rubber match with Brandon Girtz by second-round TKO at Bellator 181 in July. His promotional record sits at 8-3.
In the the second matchup of an eight-man heavyweight tourney, Matt Mitrione and Roy Nelson close out the bill with a rematch of their own.
