Sage Northcutt won't have to travel far for his next walk to the Octagon.
The Katy, Texas native will take on Thibault Gouti in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 126 on Feb. 18 at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, the promotion confirmed Thursday following a report from ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
The 21-year-old has alternated wins and losses over his last five fights, and will vie for his second straight victory at 155 pounds. In November, he took a lopsided decision over Michel Quinones in a move down from welterweight at UFC Fight Night 120 - his first fight as a member of California-based camp Team Alpha Male.
Gouti, 30, suffered stoppage losses in each of his first three fights under the UFC banner in 2016, but emphatically snapped the skid with a first-round knockout of Andrew Holbrook in September at UFC Fight Night 115.
A main event has not yet been attached to the bill.
