Manny Pacquiao might be in danger of entering Dana White's crosshairs.

After the decorated boxer claimed he'd reached out to Conor McGregor's camp regarding a potential tilt in April, the UFC president said Saturday that if Pacquiao had indeed put the proverbial wheels in motion, he wouldn't hesitate to make him rue the gesture.

"That would be weird because (McGregor's) under contract with us," White said following UFC Fight Night 123, according to MMAjunkie. "If that's true, I will be suing Manny Pacquiao and whoever's representing him, so I'm assuming that's not true. Yes, (Conor's next fight is in the UFC)."

White's longtime boxing counterpart and nemesis Bob Arum - who promotes Pacquiao - isn't too high on the would-be matchup either. Speaking to Fight Hub TV on Saturday, the New York native confirmed the pugilist had contacted McGregor and Co. two months ago, to no avail. As for whether he was interested in putting such a bout together, Arum said he would, but not without condemning it.

"Is it true that Pacquiao reached out to McGregor? Yes, but it's old news," said Arum.

"I would do it for Manny but for me, if I promoted that fight, I would tell everybody up front, 'Guess what, it's not a fucking fight. If you want a spectacle, you can watch it.'"

Pacquiao had also mentioned Keith Thurman and most recent foe Jeff Horn as potential dance partners for his next bout.
