The UFC has removed Antonio Rogerio Nogueira from its UFC Winnipeg card after the Brazilian was flagged by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency for a potential doping violation, the organization announced Thursday.

Nogueira had been booked to fight Jared Cannonier in a light heavyweight bout Dec. 16 at UFC on FOX 26. The UFC is seeking a replacement to square off versus Cannonier.

Nogueira's positive test came from an out-of-competition sample collected Sept. 27. He last fought in November 2016, losing to Ryan Bader via TKO in his home country.

Robbie Lawler and Rafael dos Anjos are set to headline the UFC card in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
