A staph infection has sidelined Patrick Cummins again.

The light heavyweight fighter announced Tuesday on Instagram he's been forced out of his date with Corey Anderson at UFC 217 due to a "mutant staph infection," and provided photographic evidence of his affected right foot in all its mutated glory:

The UFC has not yet announced Cummins' withdrawal from the card.

Tuesday's development marks the second time Cummins has been struck by a staph infection in under a year, the first scrapping a bout against Gian Villante at UFC Fight Night 102 in Albany, N.Y., last December. The pair of light heavyweights eventually met this past July at UFC on FOX 25, where Cummins took a hard-fought split decision.

UFC 217 is scheduled for Nov. 4 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
