And the hits just keep on coming to Bellator 185's main card.

An undisclosed injury suffered by Brennan Ward has scrapped Friday's welterweight co-main event against David Rickels. Neiman Gracie will face welterweight Zak Bucia in the newly anointed co-headliner, after his original opponent Javier Torres also sustained an injury.

Officials broke the late development to Dann Stupp and Matt Erickson of MMAjunkie on Monday.

A lightweight tilt between Ryan Quinn and Marcus Surin has been bumped up from the evening's prelims to round out the main card.

Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal and Liam McGeary were to clash in the bill's original light heavyweight co-headliner, only for both to be recently plagued by the injury bug - a week apart, no less.

This week's main card at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut is now as follows:

  • Middleweight Bout: Gegard Mousasi vs. Alexander Shlemenko
  • Welterweight Bout: Zak Bucia vs. Neiman Gracie
  • Women's Flyweight Bout: Heather Hardy vs. Kristina Williams
  • Women's Flyweight Bout: Lisa Blaine vs. Ana Julaton
  • Lightweight Bout: Ryan Quinn vs. Marcus Surin
