Kevin Lee got both his water weight and ego back after a dramatic Friday morning.
"The Motown Phenom" was fired up at the ceremonial weigh-ins for Saturday's UFC 216 in Las Vegas, hurling a barrage of curses at Tony Ferguson from the moment his lightweight foe hit the scale until the conclusion of their staredown - all mere hours after Lee needed two attempts to make weight for their interim title bout.
An unfazed, earbud-donning Ferguson didn't oblige Lee with a shouting match, instead enjoying "Strawberry Letter 23" by the Brothers Johnson uninterrupted, as he revealed later on the broadcast.
Lee and Ferguson meet in Saturday's main event at T-Mobile Arena in the combat sports capital.
