Viewers of UFC Fight Night 117 got a startling surprise after the first round of Chanmi Jeon and Syuri Kondo's bout, as the 20-year-old Jeon unleashed a powerful screech between bells.

The technique is normal for Jeon, though it's exact purpose is not really known. Both Jeon and Kondo tried the technique again between the second and third rounds.

Competing in her first UFC bout, the fight ended as a split decision win for Kondo, but there's a good chance Jeon's loud noises will be the most memorable takeaway.
