Saint Preux in for Cummins vs. Anderson at UFC 217

Ovince Saint Preux's workload isn't getting any lighter.

The light heavyweight fighter has agreed to fill in for Patrick Cummins and square off with Corey Anderson at UFC 217 on Nov. 4 at Madison Square Garden. The newly booked bout was added to the event's webpage Thursday following multiple reports.

Cummins bowed out with what he called a "mutated staph infection" earlier this week, allowing Saint Preux to sign on for his fourth fight of the year - this, under a month after he submitted Yushin Okami in two minutes at UFC Fight Night 117. The victory marked the 34-year-old's second straight by Von Flue choke, the first coming at Marcos Rogerio de Lima's expense at UFC Fight Night 108 this past April.

Anderson has alternated wins and losses over his past four fights and will look to rebound from a first-round KO suffered at Jimi Manuwa's hands this past March at UFC Fight Night 107.

The November card will be headlined by a middleweight title bout between reigning champion Michael Bisping and the returning Georges St-Pierre.
