Bisping says he has 'spies' in GSP's camp, guarantees early KO at UFC 217

Michael Bisping has Georges St-Pierre's number - or so he says.

On the latest episode of his "Believe You Me" podcast, the UFC middleweight champ alleged he has a few moles in the Wild Card Boxing gym - home of GSP's boxing coach and cornerman-to-be Freddie Roach - to clue him in on the former welterweight champ's regimen ahead of their November bout.

"(St-Pierre) is actually in L.A. a lot these days," Bisping said, per John Morgan of MMAjunkie. "He’s been at the Wild Card Boxing gym, training with Freddie Roach. I have a couple of spies in there, by the way, and they told me some info.

"Georges, if you’re listening buddy, that’s a public domain. I know people in there. I know what you’re working on, pal. I know what you’re working on, and it ain’t going to work on me, Georgie boy."

Bisping will be facing one of the sport's greatest takedown artists in St-Pierre, and while he's long developed a blueprint to keep his back off the canvas, he promises he won't be fleet of foot when the cage door closes. In fact, the brash Brit guarantees he'll stage a repeat performance of his rematch of Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 - where he won the 185-pound strap.

"Generally, when I fight wrestlers in the past, I move around a lot," Bisping said. "I utilize a lot of lateral movement, forward and back movement, side to side, because if you’re moving, it’s hard for a wrestler to shoot a double leg on you because you’re a moving target. I won’t be doing that this time.

"I’m going to stand right in front of him, I’m going to plant my feet, I’m going to walk him down, put him on the back foot, and I’m going to knock him out in the first round. You have my word."

The champ will look to put his words into action in the main event of UFC 217 on Nov. 4 at Madison Square Garden.
