Miller vs. Trinaldo added to UFC Sao Paulo

A pair of lightweights in need of a W are set to clash during the UFC's upcoming trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Jim Miller and Francisco Trinaldo will meet at UFC Fight Night 119 on Oct. 28 at Ginasio do Ibirapuera, in a matchup the promotion added to the bill on Tuesday.

A UFC vet of nearly nine years, Miller has dropped back-to-back decisions after mounting a three-fight win streak to close out 2016, most recently falling to former divisional champion Anthony Pettis at UFC 213. The 34-year-old heads to Trinaldo's home country with a promotional record of 17-9.

The 39-year-old Trinaldo last saw a seven-fight win streak snapped with a second-round submission loss to Kevin Lee at UFC Fight Night 106 in March. "Massaranduba" has competed in his native Brazil for all but three of 15 promotional bouts and gone 11-4 in the Octagon.

The October card will also see Lyoto Machida return against Derek Brunson in the middleweight main event.
