Conor McGregor raised his glass to Floyd Mayweather.

Despite suffering a TKO loss to the undefeated boxer Saturday night, McGregor was humble in defeat as he complimented Mayweather's strategy and performance.

"I didn't anticipate that. Three game changes in the fight. That's what a true champion does," McGregor said afterward, according to Yahoo Sports. "Much respect. You came with it. I've got to give respect to that."

The MMA champion thought he had the advantage after the early rounds, but Mayweather showed three different styles over the course of the bout: The boxing legend began in a defensive position, then played his game against the ropes before finally attacking and eventually attaining the TKO finish.

"I'll tell you what, you're one composed individual," McGregor said. "You didn't get rattled."
