Mayweather, McGregor make weight for Saturday's superfight
"The Money Fight" is official.
Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor both came in well under the 154-pound limit for Saturday's blockbuster boxing match at Friday's weigh-ins in Las Vegas, tipping the scales at 149.5 and 153 pounds, respectively.
That both fighters made weight this comfortably is of little surprise, given that Mayweather has competed in four different weight classes below that of Saturday's tilt and McGregor long called the UFC's 145-pound division home.
While the undefeated boxer will likely weigh little to no more than Friday's figure on fight night, McGregor revealed he'd be in the vicinity of 170 pounds when he steps in the ring to meet "Money" in his professional boxing debut.
The pair will clash in a 12-round tilt at T-Mobile Arena in the combat sports' Mecca.
