The first signee of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series has his first UFC dance partner.

Bantamweight prospect Boston Salmon will face Augusto Mendes in his maiden voyage to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 119 on Oct. 28 in Sao Paulo, sources confirmed to MMA Fighting's Guilherme Cruz on Friday.

"Boom Boom" earned himself a UFC contract with a unanimous decision over Ricky Turcios in the first installment of White's series last month. The 26-year-old makes his promotional debut with a professional record of 6-1, including four wins by knockout.

Mendes will look to get back in the win column at the newcomer's expense after dropping a decision to Aljamain Sterling at UFC on FOX 24 in April. "Tanquinho" owns a promotional slate of 1-2.
