The UFC officially announced Wednesday that Anderson Silva and Kelvin Gastelum will headline the main event of UFC Fight Night in Shanghai on Nov. 25 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

The bout marks Silva's (34-8-0) return to the Octagon for the first time since his victory over Derek Brunson by unanimous decision at UFC 208 on Feb. 11. The win snapped a five-fight winless streak in which Silva dropped two straight bouts to Chris Weidman as well as fights to Michael Bisping and Daniel Cormier, respectively.

The 25-year-old Gastelum (14-3-0) will be looking to avenge his recent loss by submission at the hands of Weidman on July 22. Prior to his most recent defeat, Gastelum earned impressive wins over both Tim Kennedy and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort.

Silva currently finds himself ranked No. 6 on the UFC's official rankings for the middleweight division, with Gastelum not far behind at No. 8.
