Nashkho Galaev made the most of his second chance on Wednesday.

The Russian bantamweight appeared to have succumbed to a mounted guillotine choke courtesy of Denis Mutsnek less than a round into their tilt at Absolute Championship Berkut 64 in Antalya, Turkey, but just when the referee stepped in to ensure he'd gone limp, Galaev miraculously snapped back into consciousness to make it to Round 2.

In what proved one of 2017's most surreal sequences, the 25-year-old Galaev rode his second wind to flatline Mutsnek with a knee to the button for the comeback walk-off KO at the 2:08 mark of the middle stanza.

Galaev's fifth consecutive win by knockout brings his professional record to 6-3.
