Dos Anjos vs. Magny added to UFC 215 card
A loaded fight card just got even bigger.
The UFC has added a welterweight bout between No. 6-ranked Neil Magny and No. 10-ranked Rafael dos Anjos to UFC 215 in Edmonton, Alberta on Sept. 9.
The card already features title fights between flyweights Demetrious Johnson and Ray Borg, and women's featherweights Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko.
It will be the second welterweight fight for Dos Anjos, a former lightweight champion. After losing his belt to Eddie Alvarez last July and dropping his follow-up bout with Tony Ferguson in November, Dos Anjos defeated Tarec Saffiedine via unanimous decision in June.
Magny last fought in December, defeating Johny Hendricks, also by unanimous decision, at UFC 207. He has won four of his last five fights.
