Mitrione recalls Slice's advice on how to catch a cheating girlfriend

When you spend six weeks living with Kimbo Slice, you're bound to learn something.

Slice, who died last June, is remembered as much for his imposing looks and street fighting style as for his offbeat soundbites. Current Bellator heavyweight Matt Mitrione was Slice's housemate on season 10 of "The Ultimate Fighter" back in 2009, so the pair - who later fought at UFC 113 - shared a unique bond.

Mitrione fondly recalls the bits of wisdom Slice would drop on his fellow "TUF 10" cast members, none more important than some personal advice he shared as the season wound down.

"He (Slice) said, 'For those of you who will be traveling and not sticking around, if you have any questions about your girl, I got something for you that will put your mind at ease or give you something you need to know,'" Mitrione told Brian Campbell of CBS Sports. "He looks around the room and has us all staring at him.

"He said, 'Before you leave, go to the master bedroom and go to the master bathroom. Lift up the toilet seat. Wipe everything down totally clean. Bleach wipe it. When you come back, no matter how long it has been, the first thing you need to do is go to that master bathroom. If there is some piss dribble on that seat, some dude has been stepping into your bedroom.'"

Even though Slice might not have been the best fighter inside the cage, it sounds like he had his business sorted outside of it.

Mitrione faces the legendary Fedor Emelianenko in the co-main event of Bellator NYC at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
