Watch: Mayweather hypes himself up during training session for McGregor

"You name him, I beat him."

That statement has held true for Floyd Mayweather in all 49 of his fights and he's not wavering from that mentality as he attempts to boost his record to 50-0 when he boxes MMA superstar Conor McGregor on Aug. 26.

In the first footage of Mayweather sparring that's been released since his fight with McGregor became official, the 40-year-old pugilist sounds as confident as ever that he'll have his hand raised one more time.

"I can get a black eye. I can get a bloody nose. I can have a bad day at the gym," said Mayweather. "At the end of the day, I don't have a bad payday and I don't have a bad night under the lights."

Mayweather is certainly right about the payday part as he's expected to make a hefty nine-figure sum for the McGregor bout, but it remains to be seen if he's as sharp as ever after returning from a two-year retirement.
