Ray Borg might be next in line for a shot at Demetrious Johnson, and he doesn't feel like he has to explain himself to anyone.

Currently No. 3 in the UFC's official rankings, "The Tazmexican Devil" has quietly compiled a 5-2 record in the Octagon with key wins over Jussier Formiga and Louis Smolka. He's a logical challenger for Johnson, but a meeting between the two could be in jeopardy with the news that UFC president Dana White is angling to have Johnson face former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw.

The 23-year-old Borg wrote an impassioned message on Twitter telling people not to count him out despite his relative anonymity, comparing his situation to that of Tim Elliott. Elliott languished in obscurity before winning the 24th season of "The Ultimate Fighter" to earn an immediate title shot against Johnson, which he lost in a competitive five-round fight.

Borg has twice failed to make the 125-lb limit, leading some to worry that his weight issues could spoil a championship fight with Johnson. Regardless, it sounds like he's ready to accept a fight with Wilson Reis should the UFC proceed with its plan to pair up Johnson and Dillashaw.
