The champ has spoken.

UFC flyweight king Demetrious Johnson took to Twitter on Tuesday to clarify that he hasn't signed a contract to fight TJ Dillashaw and is instead expecting to face No. 3-ranked contender Ray Borg:

Earlier, it was announced that Dillashaw would no longer be challenging bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt at UFC 213 due to Garbrandt undergoing treatment on his back that would interfere with preparation for that bout.

President Dana White said the new plan is for Johnson to defend his title against Dillashaw in August, but it appears "Mighty Mouse" isn't close to signing on the dotted line just yet.

Johnson is pursuing his 11th straight title defense, a feat that would break a tie with middleweight legend Anderson Silva for the most consecutive defenses in UFC history. He has also expressed his dismay over what he views as inadequate compensation for his services, which may be playing a part in his reluctance to immediately bend to the company's wishes.
