Kennedy draws Bochniak at UFC on FOX 25
Undefeated prospect Jeremy Kennedy is set to face Kyle Bochniak in a featherweight bout when the UFC takes Long Island on July 22 at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., the promotion confirmed on Twitter Wednesday.
The 24-year-old Canadian made his Octagon debut last August in his native British Columbia at UFC on FOX 21, where he took a unanimous decision over Alessandro Ricci. Kennedy was last seen outpointing Rony Jason at UFC Fight Night 106 for his fourth straight win by decision.
Bochniak hasn't fought since he edged Enrique Barzola by split decision on the same night Kennedy debuted. He's split his pair of UFC bouts and heads to the Empire State with a professional record of 7-1.
UFC on FOX 25 will be headlined by a middleweight clash between former champ and Long Island native Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum.
