Cyborg laments lack of promotion from UFC in Twitter spiel
Cris Cyborg has the UFC in her crosshairs.
In a Tuesday Twitter spiel, the featherweight stalwart unloaded on her employer's purported lack of interest in capitalizing on her star power, claiming that not only did the UFC let her toil in Invicta FC while the likes of former women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm reaped the benefits of the promotional limelight, but that president Dana White and commentator Joe Rogan didn't help her case in the court of public opinion:
My next fight will be my 6th fight on UFC contract Imagine how much bigger the cyborg brand would be if they had all been in the UFC

Holly Holm has had 6 fights in UFC 3-3 record but look at how her social media exploded with the company push. @Amanda_Leoa beat Ronda too

The Brazilian previously suspected she'd get the UFC star treatment if she had blonde hair and blue eyes, with her gripes culminating in a recent ultimatum demanding she be booked to fight or released from her contract.
Cyborg has also taken matters into her own hands in an effort to facilitate her next walk to the Octagon by incessantly challenging featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie to a meeting at UFC 214, a bout the promotion is reportedly targeting.
The 31-year-old's rant caught former fighter and current commentator Brian Stann's attention, and while he wholeheartedly agreed Cyborg can put butts in seats, he also alleged she and her management have proven difficult to work with. Stann claims to have been snubbed for an appointment with Cyborg in preparation for the broadcast of her first UFC fight, and that the promotion ponied up for a live-in nutritionist and launched its women's featherweight division specifically for her, only for Cyborg to turn down a spot in its inaugural title bout.
Judging by the rant, it appears Cyborg won't be satisfied until her wish to challenge De Randamie is granted.
