Bisping: GSP is 'waiting for his balls to grow' before fight is booked
If Michael Bisping is to be believed, the booking of his bout with Georges St-Pierre hinges on some much-needed anatomical enhancement.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, "The Count" theorized that the reason he hasn't been given a date for his middleweight title defense against the returning St-Pierre is because his opponent is trying to bulk up in a few significant areas.
"I think GSP is waiting for his balls to grow, so I think he's doing some bicep curls, taking some protein shakes, and then when he's big enough then maybe we can do the fight," said Bisping.
Bisping was hoping to have the St-Pierre fight booked for July, but the UFC has made no indication that it will happen then, so he can only wait for officials to make up their mind. In the meantime, he's dealt with criticism for putting the 185-pound division on hold as he heads into a superfight with St-Pierre, a former welterweight champion.
Once his business with GSP is settled, Bisping has said he plans to defend his title against the logjam of middleweight contenders. For now, he demands that they wait their turn.
"The UFC offered me Georges St-Pierre," said Bisping. "Yoel is pissed off. (Ronaldo) 'Jacare' (Souza) is pissed off. Guess what? It took me a long time to get a title shot. Did I whine like a little bitch? No.
"If you're that good, keep fighting, keep beating people, eventually you'll get your shot."
