Rampage comes in 41lbs heavier than King Mo at Bellator 175 weigh-ins

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson made "go big or go home" his mantra Thursday.

The 38-year-old tipped the scales at a whopping 253 pounds ahead of his heavyweight rematch with Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal - set to headline Friday's Bellator 175 in Rosemont, Ill. Lawal came in a full 41 pounds lighter, weighing in at 212 big ones.

After calling the light heavyweight division home for the bulk of his 17-year career, Jackson has fought at 205 pounds just twice in his past handful of bouts, one of them his first dance with Lawal, which he took by unanimous decision at Bellator 120.

Rampage initially believed the rematch would be contested at a catchweight, and was relieved to find out he was mistaken during the Bellator 175 conference call. Despite being known for his lack of discipline in both the kitchen and the gym, Thursday's extra poundage still raised no shortage of eyebrows.

Of the 10 fighters set to compete on the event's main card, Emmanuel Sanchez proved the lone transgressor at Thursday's weigh-ins, missing the featherweight limit by 3.5 pounds. His dance with former bantamweight Marcos Galvao will now proceed as a catchweight.
