Watch: Garbrandt goes for Dillashaw's throat in "TUF: Redemption" trailer

The upcoming season of "The Ultimate Fighter" may be all about redemption, but its coaches might have already stolen the show.

In the first trailer for the 25th season of the UFC's flagship show, rival coaches and former teammates Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw are prominently featured trading barbs and shoves, with Garbrandt even grabbing Dillashaw by the throat.

The pair of bantamweights used to train together at Sacramento-based gym Team Alpha Male, which Dillashaw unceremoniously left - divisional title in tow - in late 2015. The 31-year-old has been persona non grata with Garbrandt and Co. ever since, with "No Love" making his disdain for the now-former champ known long before they were booked to coach "TUF."

The 25-year-old Garbrandt captured the title with a unanimous decision win over Dominick Cruz at UFC 207 this past December, a shot Dillashaw felt should have been his, as he'd lost the title to Cruz in a razor-close split decision the previous January.

With filming now wrapped up, the season - whose contestants include former "TUF" participants and winners, as well as current UFC welterweight James Krause - is set to premiere on April 19. The tournament's finalists will compete for a roster spot in the finale on July 7, with Dillashaw and Garbrandt expected to settle their escalating beef in a bantamweight title bout at a date still to be determined.
