Sonnen makes lewd reference to Ortiz's ex-girlfriend at Bellator presser
Never bet against Chael Sonnen going below the belt when it comes time to hype up a fight.
Seated on stage with his Bellator 170 nemesis Tito Ortiz at a press conference two days before their main event clash on Saturday, the always mischievous Sonnen couldn't help but provide an X-rated response when Ortiz accused him of talking his way into big money fights.

"Tito always says I'm using my mouth to get my opportunities. The only person I know that made money using their mouth was his ex-wife," said Sonnen, referring to Jenna Jameson, the pornographic actress that Ortiz was in a relationship with from 2006-13.
Ortiz replied by calling Sonnen a "fucking punk," while Sonnen simply applauded himself for his zinger.
Jameson herself caught wind of the mention and she was unimpressed with Sonnen's wit:
First dumb thing I've heard Chael say... it's like stating the sky is blue and expecting that to be a revelation 🙄 https://t.co/ZecRIAlNaH

The press conference also included Sonnen pretending to fall asleep while Ortiz told an anecdote, calling Ortiz poor, and joking that he is "basically clean" (a cheeky reference to his history of using performance enhancing drugs).
All in all, Sonnen was clearly pleased with himself and he was all smiles even with a stern Ortiz staring him down during their faceoff:
