Report: Manuwa booked to fight Anderson at UFC London
Jimi Manuwa will be making his next walk to the Octagon in front of his fellow Brits.
"The Poster Boy" is set to tangle with fellow light heavyweight Corey Anderson at UFC Fight Night 108 in London on March 18, FloCombat's Jim Edwards reports. The bout marks the 36-year-old's second straight in his home country, scoring a monstrous knockout of Ovince Saint Preux in Manchester at UFC 204 in his last outing. The fifth-ranked Manuwa has gone 2-2 in his last four fights.
As for the ninth-ranked Anderson, the fighter formerly known as "Beastin' 25/8" has quietly won four of his last five in the Octagon, most recently sending Sean O'Connell into retirement with a second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night 102 last month. The "TUF 19" winner boasts a promotional record of 6-2.
UFC Fight Night 108 is - as of yet - without a headlining bout.
