Watch: 'Saturday Night Live' parodies McGregor in game show sketch
You know you've crossed over to the mainstream when "Saturday Night Live" lampoons you in one of its skits.
UFC superstar Conor McGregor was given his celebrity comeuppance during the latest episode of the iconic sketch comedy show.
Flanked by host John Cena's Rob Gronkowski and Bobby Moynihan's John Daly, cast member Alex Moffat - clad in an outfit nearly identical to what McGregor wore at the UFC 205 pre-fight presser - played the lightweight champion in a mock game show titled "Where'd Your Money Go?"
As Charles Barkley, Kenan Thompson suggested "McGregor" - a notoriously frivolous spender - get himself a Roth IRA. The champ's doppelganger replied with quite the knee-slapper.
"I've been in the IRA since Protestants moved into my neighborhood."
