Emerson Falcao couldn't have scripted his kickboxing comeback any better.
The Brazilian finished Oscar Vera with a vicious flying knee just 98 seconds into the main event of WGP 35 on Friday. The victory ended a two-year layoff during which Falcao underwent a trio of surgeries after suffering a broken leg.
The WGP super lightweight champion is the resident kickboxing trainer of Brazilian camp Nova Uniao, home to UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo.
