McGregor nearly hits Alvarez with chair at UFC 205 presser

The UFC almost turned into the WWE on Thursday.
A UFC 205 press conference went from zero to 100 in a matter of moments when Conor McGregor made a typically late arrival to the proceedings.
To make up for lost time, McGregor snagged lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez's belt (Alvarez had abandoned the podium not wanting to wait for McGregor) and then threatened to bash his head in with a chair when Alvarez took it back.
UFC president Dana White was able to intercept McGregor and prevent what would have been a hardcore preview of Saturday's main event.
